Photography, Tips on

Hello,

I wanted to write a brief post on photography and how to ensure your photos have some artistic flair.

For any trained photographers, you may want to skip this post as it is very basic but for the general populace, this tip can really come in handy.

Use the rule of thirds . . . that is to say, imagine two lines splitting your picture into 3 even pieces, vertically. Now try to position your subject on either of those lines. Or, if he doesn't belong way over there, maybe a prop or secondary feature can be moved over the lines.
The rule of thirds isn't limited to vertical lines, imagine your picture with two horizontal lines. If you are photographing a couple on a beach, place the ocean near either of the two lines. Of course this is just a rule of thumb, it isn't a law it's a tool. There are guidelines, but use it in whichever form works for you.

While many nice photos utilize that rule of 1/3s, there are still more that skew it or just don't take it into consideration and those can end up being quintessential pieces of art. It depends on what audience you are trying to communicate to and what you are communicating. Try it out and see how it works for you.

Oh, and keep your eyes open. I'm sure you will find many examples of photographers using this rule.

Video Marketing Part 2

Hey again,

I would like to give you a statistic, "According to eMarketer it is 52% easier to get a first page ranking
through video than via any other optimization strategy."

Coincidentally that statement ties in with my last posting about Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and my main focus with services, video marketing.
I truly believe that with my video marketing services we can turn that frown upside down, or in the case of many businesses, turn that dropping statistic into a rising one.

It is really a simple matter of knowing your product(s) and having me document it with photographs and ad copy. Those elements are useful in general promotional material be it, postal promotional material or website content. But, using my software and skills, we can turn those static images into dynamic video and adding ad copy to the video can assist in getting your point across.

Together we are the dynamic duo!

Search Engine Optimization, Key Points of

Hello again,

I know the last blog was on Video Marketing and I labeled it Part 1 but I thought I'd spice this up a bit by moving to another topic and coming back to Video Marketing at a later time.

Everybody in the business world and especially in the online marketing field mentions or at least hears of this subject, Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

What I would like to clarify are the key features of such a task. . .

A main focus from the SEO groups have been to ensure your content is complete, i.e. you have relevant keywords within your site and that those keywords are used logically as well as regularly throughout the actual text of your website. There are other points regarding content such as tagging posted pictures so that they can also be indexed within search engines.

Another key focus has been to develop back-links on other exterior sites which route readers back to your own site.

This is a valid point however, a key point which is commonly overlooked or perhaps not stressed enough is the regular outflow of data. Whether it is blogging, posting comments and information on forums, or just updating the actual key content on your site, these are major points that must be kept in. Outflow is analogous to the glue that keeps all of the pieces of your SEO together.

If you want to markedly increase your ratings with Google, video marketing is a major point. Through the videos you can gather much traffic and direct them to your site with back-links. It is a cost-effective means of bringing in large amounts of public.

Video Marketing Part 1

My main focus on delivering an effective marketing piece are my promotional videos.

They are rather simple really, I take professional photographs of your company's work whether its a home to be sold, construction on/in a building or perhaps your workplace to show off your professionalism. I chose the best photos and apply any necessary touch-ups and finally I add them together in a sensible form along with royalty-free music if you like.

To keep the video from being just a progression of static images, I also use the Ken Burns Effect aka pan & zoom. All of my videos utilize this effect, click on the link below to see this effect illustrated.

More on creation of my videos on a later day.
Coming up, why you should have promotional videos and how you can use them to better your production.

Starting now, I will regularly close my blogs by stating the fundamental purpose of Signature Marketing:
To create effective marketing and promotional pieces for companies thereby enhancing the production and growth of the organization leading to survival in abundance for the organization and its members.
